At MOJO, we created a marketing campaign to drive subscriptions to our WordPress support product, WP Live. As a part of the process, we needed a responsive landing page for customers searching for free WordPress themes on Google to land on and convert into premium theme customers. If they bought a subscription to WP Live, they got a free premium WordPress theme.
With this page, we took a straightforward approach with the copy and design to help resolve any confusion around WordPress themes.
We A/B tested this page and found that the simpler, straightforward messaging resulted in more conversions than another version of the page with more information about the product. Instead, this page relies on the video to tell the story.
